Independent preparatory schools do not have to follow the National Curriculum or submit test results to the Department for Education so there is no individual school performance data or star rating.

Visit the school's website to learn more about their unique curriculum, policies on testing and common leaver destinations (a good indicator of pupil progress). See our About page for information on Choosing A Prep School.

School Description

Pupils at this school gain a narrow understanding of the world. They are prevented from learning important information about how to stay safe in their lives beyond school. This curtails their personal development and leaves them vulnerable to some of the risks that they may face as they grow older. Pupils are unaware of the shortcomings in the education that they receive to promote all aspects of their personal development. They are happy at school. Pupils feel safe and well looked after by staff. Pupils are highly attentive in class. They are delighted when staff reward them for their good manners and positive conduct. Pupils also try their hardest to meet the high expectations that staff have of their learning. These expectations are just as high for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Typically, pupils learn well. They develop a secure knowledge of the subjects that they study. Parents and carers choose this school because its ethos adheres firmly to the tenets of the Jewish faith. Pupils’ moral and spiritual understanding develops well. They are proud of, and knowledgable about, their religious heritage. However, a lack of opportunity to build their understanding and tolerance of different people and cultures leaves pupils wholly underprepared for life in modern Britain.
